School Budget
Our school income comes from three sources: tuition, donations and fundraising. We are also eligible to receive grants. Our expenses have matched our income, with a little left over for savings each year.
Each August, the Cedar Tree board reviews the past budget and sets the new budget for the coming fiscal year (June to July). The board sets the tuition, determines salaries, and makes other financial decisions.
We work hard to keep expenses down. We want school to be affordable. Tuition is by far the greatest source of our income. Your tuition reflects the true cost of private education for your child. The board does raise tuition from time to time to match our increased expenses.
Tuition and Registration
Tuition for the 2008-2009 year is $5,100.00. Our ten-month payment plan means families will make payments of $510 per month from September through June.
There is a $100 discount if the year’s tuition is paid in full by October 1. There is also a 10% reduction in tuition for additional children from the same family. Tuition is due the first of every month, beginning September 1. Tuition is discounted for siblings of students enrolled at Cedar Tree.
In addition to tuition, a registration fee of $50.00 is due upon enrollment of your child. This fee reserves a place for your child and is nonrefundable. For returning students, there is a reenrollment fee of $25.00 due in February. Reserving your spot for the next year will allow us to calculate how many spots are available for prospective new families.
